Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio Collezione limited editions

Alfa Romeo has whipped the wraps off two new performance-focused limited-edition models, the Giulia Quadrifoglio Collezione and Stelvio Quadrifoglio Collezione.

Alfa Romeo has presented a duo of new global limited-edition models, the Giulia Quadrifoglio Collezione and Stelvio Quadrifoglio Collezione. Only 63 examples will be made; the number paying homage to the year the iconic Quadrifoglio appeared on a production car for the first time.

Distinguishing the special-edition Giulia Quadrifoglio and Stelvio Quadrifoglio derivatives from their “standard” stablemates, each model features a distinct exterior body hue — “Rosso Collezione Giulia” and “Rosso Collezione Stelvio”, both of which an interpretation of the 33 Stradale’s “Rosso Villa D’Este” finish. The package also gains a carbon-fibre front badge and carbon-fibre wing mirror housings.

Stepping inside, the dashboard is upholstered in leather, replete with red contrast stitching, while the seats are trimmed in hide and Alcantara. The pews of each example also feature embroidered numbering, from “1 di 63 Collezione” to “63 di 63 Collezione”. The rear passenger compartment feature Sparco seats with carbon-fibre shells.

As a reminder, the Giulia Quadrifoglio and Stelvio Quadrifoglio are endowed with the Italian automaker’s sonorous 2.9-litre V6 powertrain. The twin-turbocharged unit, which is coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission, produces a healthy 375 kW and 600 N.m of twisting force — the former available from 6 500 r/min, with the full complement of torque on tap from 2 500 r/min.

Delivering power to the road via the rear wheels, the Giulia Quadrifoglio completes the obligatory 0-100 km/h sprint in a claimed 3.9 seconds, before topping out at 307 km/h. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio transfers power to the road via an all-wheel drivetrain. Alfa Romeo claims the pinnacle Stelvio sprints to the three-figure marker from a standstill one-tenth of a second quicker than its performance sedan sibling. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio tops out at 285 km/h. Stopping power is provided by a set of carbon-ceramic brakes.

As standard, the latest special-edition Giulia Quadrifoglio and Stelvio Quadrifoglio models are equipped with an Akrapovič exhaust system; elevating these performance-focused Alfa Romeos’ distinctive V6 soundtracks to new heights.
