Every car on this site belongs to somebody else. The manufacturer. And that’s the whole point.
Carmakers hand us the keys for a week. We drive the thing the way you would: the school run, a Sunday blast over a mountain pass, the Friday-night queue at the fuel pump. Then we give it back. Usually reluctantly. Sometimes with relief. Either way, we’ve no instalment to justify and no badge to defend, so we can tell you what the brochure won’t.

That’s Other People’s Cars. Reviews, news and opinion for South Africans who’d rather know than guess. It’s written and filmed by Calvin Fisher, a motoring journalist who’s spent 20 years borrowing cars he can’t afford.
Which brings us to you. One day, one of these will be your car. We’d like it to be the right one.
