INEOS Automotive has whipped the wraps off a one-of-a-kind Grenadier Quartermaster, with the Australian arm of the British marque handing the go-anywhere double-cab bakkie a raft of off-road-ready upgrades and accessories. Meet the ‘Kaiju’ Quartermaster.

The first “special” project from INEOS Automotive, the Kaiju Quartermaster is based on Trialmaster Edition level of specification, which, among many other items, includes a duo of differential locks (front and rear), a snorkel and 17-inch steel wheels, wrapped in 315/70-size BFGroodrich KM3 mud-terrain tyres. In addition, the Kaiju Quartermaster package is equipped with several additional INEOS Automotive accessories, including a bull bar, rock sliders and checker plates.
We wanted to create a truly unique Quartermaster — Justin Hocevar, Regional Director, APAC at INEOS Automotive
However, to create a “truly unique” Grenadier Quartermaster, the one-off model has gained a “heavy-duty” aluminium tray, which is fitted with a canopy, replete with a ladder, flanked by mounting points for two spare wheels, to access the canopy-mounted rack. There is also a bolt-on jerry can holder. A 1 200 mm trundle drawer, replete with a drop-in table, a 130-litre upright fridge with a REDARC wiring system, and a 40-litre water tank are further included in the Kaiju Quartermaster package. Bespoke sequential rear lamps are also present.
For enhanced off-road capability, this unique Grenadier Quartermaster has been fitted with JMACX suspension upgrades and, to ensure you can travel even further off the beaten path, a long-range fuel tank, with a capacity of 168 litres (78 litres more than the standard Grenadier Quartermaster), has been added to the package.

As a reminder, the Grenadier Quartermaster is available with the choice of two BMW-sourced 3.0-litre, six-cylinder engine options, a turbocharged petrol and turbocharged oil-burner, both of which coupled with an eight-speed automatic cog swapper. The petrol unit produces 210 kW and 450 N.m, and the diesel powertrain churns out 183 kW and 550 N.m.
“We wanted to create a truly unique Quartermaster together with some incredibly innovative local engineering and accessory partners. The Quartermaster Cab Chassis is a ‘blank canvas’ that allows for great versatility when it comes to customisation, so together with these project partners, we let our imagination run wild. Ultimately, the Kaiju Quartermaster expresses our Australian vision of ‘Built For More’,” said Justin Hocevar, Regional Director, APAC at INEOS Automotive.
