So, what can you expect from the Q6 e-tron? Based on the marque’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, which was developed in partnership with Porsche, the Q6 e-tron is the first production model sitting on this underpinnings.   Speaking of the latter, Gernot Döllner, Chairman of the Board of Management of Audi AG, said, “The Audi Q6 e-tron is the next technological leap in premium electric mobility.”

But what about power and torque, and performance figures? Well, the Q6 e-tron range will comprise several derivatives, with the first two equipped with an 800 V electrical system, which incorporates a 100 kWh (94.9 kWh net) lithium-ion battery pack, coupled with fore and aft electric motors.

These all-wheel-drive variants come in the shape of the standard Q6 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron. The former produces 285 kW for a claimed 0-100 km/h sprint time of 5.9 seconds, before topping out at 210 km/h. The S-badged version’s 380 kW allows it to dispatch the obligatory 0-100 km/h sprint in 4.3 seconds. The SQ6 e-tron has a maximum speed of 230 km/h.

Rear-wheel-drive models, which will serve as the entry point to the range, will be introduced at a later stage. These derivatives, Audi says, will be designed for all-electric range. Speaking of range, Audi claims the battery pack provides up to 625 km when fully charged.
