Indeed, available through CVH Auto Group, you can now have a C8-generation Corvette Stingray that’s fully homologated (and right-hand drive) for our market.
The Corvette Stingray is equipped with a 6.2-litre normally aspirated V8 engine, which is internally known as the LT2. Fitted with the American automaker’s Z51 package, which enhances the car’s on-road and -track performance, as standard, the South African-spec Corvette Stingray models’ mid-mounted atmospheric powertrain produces a peak power output of 369 kW and 613 N.m of torque — the latter exclusively sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. According to the US brand, the Corvette Stingray sprints to the 100 km/h marker from a standstill in just 3.5 seconds.
The Z01 is also powered by a naturally aspirated V8 petrol engine, though has a displacement of 5.5 litres. However, although this model’s LT6 powertrain is 18 N.m down on torque, this more hardcore, track-focused version is endowed with a healthier 500 kW peak power output, which allows it to reach the one-tonne in under 3.0 seconds.

The modern Corvette Stingray is available from R3.7 million in Manzi, with pricing including a service plan and a warranty as standard. Customers have the choice of having their Stingray in coupé or convertible body styles.
