Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Executive Plus specifications
As standard, Executive Plus level of of specification includes a 10.25-inch, touch-enabled infotainment display. The setup incorporates Apple CarPlay and Android Auto screen mirroring, which relays tunes via an eight-speaker Sony sound system. A 360-degree surround-view camera array is also present.
The list of standard specification further includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster; dual-zone climate control, including air conditioning for third-row passengers; a cooled glove compartment; multi-colour ambient lighting, and keyless entry and start. A sunroof is also included in the package. Executive Plus trim also features black leather upholstery and electrically adjustable, heated front pews, replete with memory functionality.
Safety items include six airbags, Isofix child-seat anchorages and several driver assistance systems. The latter includes adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, and front collision warning.
Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Executive Plus engine and transmission
The newcomer is powered by the Chinese manufacturer’s 1.6-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which produces 145 kW and 290 N.m of twisting force, exclusively sent to the seven-seater SUV’s front axle via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Chery claims an average fuel consumption figure of 7.3 L/100 km.
How much does the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Executive Plus cost in South Africa?
The new opening gambit to the local Chery Tiggo 8 Pro line-up, the 1.6TGDI 290T Executive Plus is priced from R529 900, making it R80 000 less expensive than the variant specified in Executive trim grade. As standard, the new derivative’s sticker price includes a service plan spanning five years or 60 000 km, and the automaker’s 10-year/1 million km warranty, the latter of which, as a reminder, is only applicable to the first owner of the car.
